The laser based 10Gigabit SFP+ Transceiver is designed to transmit and receive serialoptical data over single mode optical fiber with 80Km.They are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, 10GFC Rev 4.0, and 10GBASE ZR/ZW. The transmitter converts seria l EML electrical data into serial optical data compliant with the IEEE 802.3ae standard. The receiver converts serial optical data into serial EML electrical data. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2 wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

The 10G SFP+ DWDM 80km is a tunable transceiver module designed for 80 km optical communication applications, and it is compliant to the SFP+ MSA standard. This module can convert 10 Gbps electrical data to 10 Gbps optical signals. Similarly, it can convert a 10 Gbps optical input signal to 10 Gbps serial electrical data. It is designed to meet the harshest external operating conditions including temperature, humidity and EMI interference. The module offers very high functionality and feature integration, accessible via a two-wire serial interface.
