1000G OSFP Direct Attach Cable copper cable assemblies(DAC) are a low cost alternative for 100G Ethernet applications. They are designed to be fully compatible in form factor and optical/electrical connections according to the QSFP Multi-Source Agreement & IEEE 100G.
