【JPC x National Taiwan University of Science and Technology | Co-developing Key AI High-Speed Transmission Technologies and Talent】


JPC connectivity and the College of Industry-Academia Innovation at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) are collaborating to develop high-speed transmission platform technologies supporting AI computing and cultivate key talent. This collaboration is led by Professor Li San-Liang from the Department of Electronic Engineering at NTUST, combining NTUST's research strength in silicon photonics technology with JPC's extensive expertise in optical communication and high-speed connectivity products. The focus is on heterogeneous integration technology of semiconductor lasers and silicon photonic chips, jointly advancing the next-generation CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) platform. These innovative results will be applied in AI servers, cloud data centers, and high-performance computing (HPC) fields, addressing the urgent need for high-speed, low-power transmission. JPC will also deepen its role in the AI supply chain, enhancing Taiwan's technological visibility in global AI infrastructure.
