JPC is committed to actively promote the code of conduct of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), by ensuring compliance with labor rights, employee health and safety, environmental protection, compliance with ethical standards and effective management systems, and accepting the arrangements of third-party verification agencies for implementation. Do not use "conflict minerals"

As a global corporate citizen, JPC and its affiliated companies understand and recognize the value of human rights. We are committed not to use conflict minerals mined in situations of armed conflict and human rights violations. The materials, components and products we are responsible for delivering to our customers do not contain minerals from conflict minerals areas: gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), tin (Sn); ever or will Mining, acquiring or trading in a manner that involves human rights violations and armed conflict, including but not limited to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya, Angola, the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Sudan and Zambia.

Supplier Evaluation

With reference to the ISO 9001 supplier evaluation and assessment content, we wrote the supplier evaluation management procedure J-QP0705, which is applicable to JPC practical implementation. After passing the procedure, we become a JPC qualified supplier.
JPC revised its supplier code of conduct in 2024 and required suppliers to re-sign the new version of the document, which was completed in September. A total of 477 suppliers have re-signed.

Supplier audit guidance

In 2024, the "RBA-WE002, RBA Supplier Management Measures" was revised and issued on 20240419, and the annual audit guidance RBA and GHG carbon inventory of suppliers were implemented. SQM will conduct audits, guidance improvements and closure of deficiencies.
